3. NAME FORMAT: The use of names helps to keep chat "handles" out that might seem disrespectful or silly.  Use your first name and country or if you must have your own comfort level satisfied, use your baptismal name, confirmation name or favorite Saint's name (without the SAINT OR St. before your name since you are not that Saint) along with the country you are from.  See the example above. States by your name are not required only your country's name is.

4. Donations to Churchbulletin.com are not accepted.  The use of this website is free of charge.  While links to donate to worthy causes might appear on this website from time-to-time, Churchbulletin.com does not  and will not accept donations to run its operation here.  This work is paid for by an average working-class Catholic to give Catholics an opportunity to learn more about the Lord and His Church as well as to share the beautiful things the Lord and His Church has done in their lives.    THANKS and enjoy your time here.

5. Voice Chat Capabilities:  At times, the voice module is enabled.  When it is, you will see a prompt that asks you to accept or deny connection to the voice chat.  If you deny, the chatters will not be able to hear you.  If you accept they will be able to hear you (if you have a microphone plugged in).  Voice capabilities are usually turned off most of the time.  You will see what looks like a webcam icon on the names of the people when the voice is activated.  You can still text chat in the event that you don't want to voice chat.   See you inside!

6. Please refrain from making any comments or posting any messages or posting any links to images, even in private, of or with any se-xual content or inn-u-endo of any type.   The insertion of the dashes were necessary to prevent programs from blocking this site.  The two words above with dashes should be read without the dashes.

7.   NOTE: Use this chat room at your own risk.  The chat plays a Catholic television channel while you are chatting,  If you can't afford to go over the amount of gigs your internet service provide provides you per month, please consider limiting your chat time here at Churchbulletin.com or using another chat site on the internet.

11. The paragraphs on this page are numbered for quick reference.

12. Please don't press the "Enter Chat" button if you do not agree to the policy of this website. It is your responsibility to read the rules and disclaimers of the chat and website before you enter and use it. If there have ever been any disgruntled people after visiting any website on the internet, it has been because they have not read and understood the rules and regulations that govern it. Placement of rules such as the ones below are necessary for interactive websites such as Churchbulletin.com. Thank you for reading.

13. Churchbulletin.com's Chat is a Catholic text and possibly in the future at any unannounced time be also a voice chat with a Catholic agenda. The format is designed for developing friendships and support for Catholics, members of RCIA programs, and non-catholics who wish to gather with the Catholic community in a spirit of charity and truth. This chat is not for the propagation or exhibition of behaviors of groups, religions, or individuals not in communion with the Catholic Church and its rules on life and morality. This chat is not an open debate forum for non-Catholic agendas,  or a place for alleged mystics looking for attention since it is impossible for the people in the chat and the webmaster to make judgments on mystics.

14.  This is not to say though that you may not talk about mysterious/mystical/unexplainable phenomenon that has occurred in your life as it is natural in a Catholic's life to receive very tangible moments of "actual grace".

15.  You may always share about approved mystical phenomena such as Fatima, The Divine Mercy, St. Joseph of Cupertino's levitations, the incorrupt bodies of the Saints and other such things which have been recognized or approved. Alleged apparitions and such may be discussed; however, only if they are vital to the conversation in the Catholic Chat room.

16.   You may not solicit any members in chat to provide donations to your organizations and projects-Catholic, Non-Catholic, or Secular. This gets difficult and puts even the well intentioned organization, who is soliciting donations, in a spot of chatting at Churchbulletin.com only to ask for money or to sell his/her/their product.  There are other catholic websites to advertise at.  Churchbulletin.com doesn't really advertise either as it is very difficult to manage those types of things.

17.  Monitors will ask you to type in the appropriate login name information in chat in the event you forget to do so. Monitors will kick your name out until you respond.

18.  Churchbulletin.com is not responsible for comments you make nor comments made to you in chat. Please don't use the chat if you do not agree to this. Saintly respectful behavior you would display to the Lord God or the Pope is expected in Churchbulletin.com Chat rooms. If this chat stresses you out or is not in accord with your views, religion, or lifestyle you are not obligated to come back or to continue to visit this website and its chat.

19.  The owner of Churchbulletin.com reserves the right to terminate any registered account(s), chat access or access to the website at anytime without notification for any reason of any past, present, or future users.

21.  Churchbulletin.com, under its new owner does not accept responsibility for any actions, debts, or promises made by its past owner/webmaster to past, present, or future users of Churchbulletin.com and does not accept responsibility for the services, commitments, or promises offered by its past owner/webmaster.

22.  Churchbulletin.com reserves the right to modify any of its policy at anytime without notice to the registered and non registered user to apply to users of the past, present or future. Those links, if any, are provided for you to visit at your own risk. You are not obligated to visit them. You are not obligated to purchase any products from them either.

26.  Churchbulletin.com chat is monitored. The style of the chat is casual. It is a fellowship place on the internet to talk about present Catholic issues, to pray for one another, to speak freely about the Eucharist, the Saints, the Holy Father, and other beloved topics of the Catholic Church.

27.  Churchbulletin.com expects chats to be positive.  The webmaster and or monitors will also not use the voice chat (if available) conversation time to discuss complaints or disagreements. These may be done in the chat in private.  Cases of people banned or kicked out are usually not discussed with anyone.  Appeals are usually not granted.  If a chatter is granted access after he or she has been banned, the chatter should assume he or she was given a second chance.  The webmaster has absolutely no time to keep track of this information so use this chat carefully the first time around.

28.  If personal moral issues of concern should be presented in the chat, it is expected that a prayer for resolution should follow or a proposed solution to the problem. If advice is not sought, don't present a problem.  You may also not like what you hear.  USE YOUR JUDGMENT.  THERE ARE EXTREMELY DISTURBED people in this world giving out false and misguided advice and information.  Be fairly warned... if someone asks you to do something that may hurt you or another person, do not do it!

29.  Be prudent when you share your information with people you don't know. It is easy to become familiar with a person in the chat to the extent of giving them your personal email, address or phone number.  Be careful if you do this.  The person at the other end of the chat may be someone completely different than the person you believe him or her to truly be.  The webmaster/owner of Churchbulletin.com reserves the right to turn over to authorities any criminal information he is made aware of to the proper authorities. In addition, he will release any member information to the proper authorities should there be a reason for authorities to request this information from the webmaster/owner of Churchbulletin.com.   Persons asking your for personal information may also be one of those con artists you receive crazy emails from that claim that you have inherited a huge sum of money.  BE CAREFUL!

30.  Never assume the chats are completely private.   Chat systems have the capability of logging chat.  If you don't want your personal feelings to be read by an administrator, be tempered about what you type in private.  The administrator of this chat and the chat hosting service are the only persons with access to this information.  This information is kept confidential in as far as the chat does not contain information that must be reported to law authorities.  What you say in private is your business but just keep it legal and moral.

31. Rooms are monitored publically to keep the chat experience pleasant and Catholic. Monitors may use privileges and duties loaned to them by the owner of Churchbulletin.com to warn and or disconnect members who do not seem to follow the rules and regulations of this page and the wishes of the owner of this website.
